Welcome to Prairie Moon Kennels we are located just outside of Calmar, Alberta, Canada.
Home of the American Pit Bull Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier.
Our Kennel focuses on dogs that have Great Temperments, Good Health, Proper Structure, Completely Trainable and Loving Companions. Creating true embassadors for the breed. We do accept some bully type dogs as long as they are correct to the UKC standard.
This takes earning titles, health testing and temperment testing all of our dogs.
As we are just getting started all of our focus is directed to training for obedience, rally-o, agility, weight pull, and conformation of the dogs we currently have.
All of our dogs are raised in our home as our pets and family members we are only a hobby kennel and are not here to over breed or make money.
We focus when breeding to breed to the UKC/ADBA standards for the APBT and CKC/AKC standards for the AmStaff.
Prairie Moon Kennels is owned & runned by Jaida Cooper & Brandon Hallborg.
If you don't care about pedigree or show/competition please adopt a pit bull or staffy from a local shelter or rescue. Pit bulls are the most common dogs in shelters and are the last breed to leave.

No dogs shall be sold for illegal purposes... we do not support dog fighting and we will report anyone who tries to buy from us for illegal use.
